Archdaily

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to talk about the website that I use the most since I started studying architecture: Archdaily .  This website is like a Blogger, but focused only on architecture. On the page architects from all over the world, can write about topics that relate to architecture. Generally, what is most uploaded to the page are projects and for the same reason, it serves as a source of inspiration for many students and professionals. This website is my great ally, especially when the final deliveries of the workshop are approaching. So I can spend hours and hours looking at projects by different architects. I like Archdaily because you always find all the information you need. I have rarely encountered projects that do not have complete planimetry, so archdaily is to have everything in one place. I would mainly recommend it to students and professionals of architecture, but the website could also be visited by anyone who is interested in architect...

A Photo and Its Story

Imagen
Hi all! Today, I will tell you the story of one of the most meaningful photos to me. In the winter holidays of 2019, I went to Pichilemu for the first time. I think it's meaningful to me, not only because it was my first time in Pichilemu,  but it was also the first time going on vacation with most of my family and also, it was my first time using my drone. I remember that day, we all went out to tour Pichilemu until we reached a viewpoint, which had a very good view. Usually, when I take pictures with my drone I just photograph the landscape, b ut that time my dad put so much pressure on me to take pictures of us, that I did and it turned out this great photo. Now that I’m at the University, I have little time to be with my family, I would like something like that to be repeated again, that was the first and last time, so far, that we went on vacation all together. As long as it doesn’t happen, I will only be able to look at the photos and remember how good it was to go on a...

My Favourite Piece of Technology

Imagen
Hi guys! I would say my favorite piece of technology is my analog camera, everywhere I go I take it. Since I was little I have always liked cameras, my first camera was one that I found in the house and since then I have not stopped taking pictures, Over time I had to understand the different parts of a camera, to be able to use it correctly. After several years learning with digital cameras, about 4 years ago I tried to use an analog camera that I had bought for 5,000 pesos at a fair. This form of photography makes me think a lot more about the photos I will take, as I can't see the final result until all the photos are finished, I develop it and it is scanned or printed. Generally, a roll of film lasts me almost a year, so I have to wait all that time to see my photos. Honestly, I would not recommend this to a person with little patience, since as I said to see the photos you must wait a long time. On the other hand, I would recommend it to people who like photography and are wil...

Why did I choose my major?

Imagen
Hi everyone, this time I'm going to talk about my major. I chose my major because I have always  liked creating and designing things. My dream job as a child was to be an arts teacher, so when deciding career was between three options, architecture, audiovisual direction and pedagogy in arts.  Honeslty, I have always liked phorography and everything audiovisual, but I never decided if it was really what I wanted to study or I just saw it as a hobby, so at the time of choosing a career I discarded it. I decided not to study pedagogy because my mom didn´'t want it. So, I finally decided on architecture, but I always think o whenever I would like to be a teacher of something related to architecture or return to study, but this time audiovisual direction.   My first project My experience so far has been good, despite being difficult I have learned a lot, which is the important thing. Bye, for now.
